About SPOTiNO: how we coach in Lahore

Why we coach this way

Why we coach this way

Most youth football in Lahore runs on numbers a coach cannot hold in their head. Twenty-five players, one voice, one ball each for four minutes. Everyone gets a session. Almost nobody gets coached. We built SPOTiNO around the opposite constraint: eight players per coach, capped, so a coach can name what each player is working on without checking a list.

The second thing parents tell us is that they never knew what their child was actually being taught. So every SPOTiNO player has a one-page development plan, written down, and it is read through in front of them every six weeks. The player hears it, the parent sees it, and the next six weeks have a stated point. Nothing on that page is a grade. It is a list of what comes next.

We are SPOTiNO (PVT) LIMITED, a registered private limited company in Pakistan, and the coaching runs under that registration. Sessions are at our own training grounds in Lahore. Parents may watch any session from the touchline without booking, because a method you would not let a parent watch is not a method worth using.

What a player actually gets

The coach knows your child's name and their next step

At eight players per coach, corrections land in the session they are needed, not in a general instruction shouted at a group. Your child gets spoken to directly, repeatedly, every session.

You can watch any of it

Touchline access to any session, no booking, no viewing days. If you want to see whether the coaching matches what is written on the plan, you can stand there and check.

You know what they are working on

The six-week review puts the development plan on the table in front of the player and the parent. You leave knowing the two or three things that will be worked on next, in plain words.

Games against squads at the same level

Weekend fixtures are arranged against academies at a matching level, so players get contested minutes instead of a scoreline decided in ten minutes either way.

No dead months

Squads train all twelve months of the year. Sessions move indoors from November, so a player does not lose the winter and start again in spring having forgotten what they built.

Come and watch a session, then decide

Ask for a trial in the right age-group squad, or turn up and watch from the touchline first, no booking needed. Session fees and camp prices are quoted on request.
